Creating Value from Degraded Landscapes
Agricultural practices have in many places resulted in the natural landscape being degraded. Farming practices, climatic change and economic constraints have created a challenge to return the land to a sustainable state. Renewed Carbon has developed a range of technology based solutions to optimise the economic potential of these degraded landscapes.
We enable the restoration of degraded rangeland properties, helping restore the water and nutrient bearing capacity of soil and increasing the economic productivity of agricultural land.
We do this by clearing invasive native species from degraded & under used land, using that cleared renewable resource to produce renewable carbon products.
In other areas, where the problem lies in the production of liquid biomass waste, we use a combination of technologies to pre-treat and process this into useful products.

Production facilities are located close to both sources of raw biomass and customers for some of the key products.
Historically Biomass has been viewed as a waste product or suitable only for power or heat generation. Years of research has enabled Renewed Carbon to develop a business model that optimises the potential use of each element of the salvaged biomass input to create valuable products that sequestrate CO2.
