Mark Glover, Founder/CEO

Mark has been a leading exponent of renewable resource use over many years.

Previously he conceived and built Southern Oil refinery (used lubricants) and partnered with Laing O’Rourke to B.O.O. used oil re-refining projects globally for BP/Castrol. He developed a national waste infrastructure plan for Brunei/Shell and was COO for a State agency to develop a waste and resource recovery strategy and policy.

Tony Parantheone, Director

Tony has had an extensive career across a number of industries, holding a range of senior positions.

He was previously Managing Director of Hartley Computers, director of Operations for a major division of an ASX listed company and the Chairman of Miniskips Limited.

Karl Schutte, Executive Director

Karl's longstanding interest in sustainability has seen him advise on funding clean technology businesses for the past 10 years.  Previously he has been an Investment banker for 25 years with Deutsche Bank, Rothschild and Grant Samuel where he has acted as finance advisor and lender to major infrastructure projects.

He holds an MBA and a M.Environ.Mgmt.

Peter has been involved in assisting, developing and growing businesses in Australia and internationally for 30 years.

He previously co-founded VC Mentors, an investment and advisory firm whose client value growth exceeded $1B over 4 years. He has served in CEO/COO/Director roles in Australia and USA and was previously with The Boston Consulting Group in Australia and Asia.

Peter van Herk originally qualified in Natural Resource Management. He brings specialist knowledge of Australian native timbers processing and marketing to the table as well as extensive business development consultancy experience.

Peter has a deep understanding of the regional areas in which the company operates and a wealth of experience in the arid zone timbers market.

Professor Stephen Joseph AM is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy, a chartered engineer and has been a senior adviser to both commercial, government and non-government organizations, in renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture and forestry.

His extensive experience worldwide in all forms of renewable energy includes biodiesel, oil from algae, biomass combustion, pyrolysis and gasification plant, biochar, plastic wood composite, microhydro, wind and solar energy and additives for high strength concretes.

He has also been involved in multi-country market research into areas related to biochar, waste recycling and renewable energy. He has written over 100 books and articles and lectured and trained other engineers and scientists throughout the world.

Rick Stefanutti has been developing new and emerging technologies and processes for major Australian and International companies for over 30 years. He brings deep capabilities in understanding how best to bring industrial technologies to a production ready state.

His core competencies in mechanical engineering and industrial process control have been applied in various renewable sector projects as well as across a broad range of industries including Steel, Chemical, Building & Construction, Agricultural, and Resource recovery. Rick is also the recipient of several engineering excellence awards from the Australian Institute of Engineers.

Professor Annette Cowie has a background in soil science and plant nutrition, with particular interest in sustainable resource management. She is Principal Research Scientist -Climate, in NSW Department of Primary Industries. From 2009 to early 2014 she was the Director of Rural Climate Solutions, an alliance between NSW DPI and the University of New England. Annette is also Task Leader of the International Energy Agency Bioenergy research network "Climate Change Effects of Biomass and Bioenergy Systems", Land Degradation advisor on the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel of the Global Environment Facility, and a member of the Science Policy Interface of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.
